We used to run the air conditioning from June through September and the bill showed it. I put the Breeze Pro at the foot of the bed on speed 3, aimed slightly up toward the ceiling the way the guide suggests, and the room stays comfortable until morning. I'm not going to pretend a fan is an air conditioner on a hundred-degree day, but for everything below that it has genuinely replaced ours

I'm a light sleeper and I have returned three fans for hum. This one I have to look at to know it's on. Speeds 1 through 4 are silent to me. You start to hear airflow around 6, and by 9 it is obviously moving air, but even then it's air noise and not motor noise. That distinction is the entire product.

Desk mode during the workday, full height in the bedroom at night, and it really is two fans. I'm docking a star because the pole didn't seat properly on my first try and I had to back it out and twist again. Once I felt the click it has been rock solid for two months. Still no tools and still under five minutes.

The timer and the remote are why we chose this one. I can shut it off from the doorway instead of walking across a creaky floor, and it has never once woken her. We liked it enough that there's now one in our room too. If you're even considering two, order them together, I missed the bundle price by buying a month apart.
